Intellectual Property Policy – 4D Shops of Imagination
At 4D Shops of Imagination, we deeply value creativity and the unique work of dreamers, makers, and inventors. To keep our magical marketplace safe and fair for everyone, we follow laws and best practices that protect intellectual property. Here’s how we handle concerns about intellectual property and what it means for our community.
What We Do
4D Shops of Imagination is a platform for creative individuals to showcase and sell their unique treasures. Each shop is run by independent creators who are responsible for their own items, shop policies, and following the rules.
While we provide the space, we don’t make, ship, or manage the items sold—creators do that themselves. They’re also responsible for making sure their works are original or that they have the right to use any designs, characters, or elements they include.
We reserve the right to remove any items or accounts that may go against our rules or the law. We aim to keep the marketplace a friendly and respectful place for everyone.
Reporting Concerns
If someone believes that a creation in the marketplace uses their work without permission, they can let us know using our Magical Reporting Wand (also known as our Reporting Portal). Once we review the concern, we may remove the item or temporarily pause it while we investigate.
We also make sure to inform the shop owner so they can understand what happened and, if needed, explain their side with a Counter Notice.
Counter Notice Magic
If a shop owner believes that their removed item isn’t actually against the rules, they can send us a Counter Notice. After we review their case, and as long as there isn’t a legal claim against it, their item may return to the shop in about 10 days.
Repeat Offenses
We’re all about second chances, but repeated rule-breaking can lead to saying goodbye to the marketplace. So, we encourage everyone to work together and follow the rules to keep our creative space welcoming and fair.
Taking Back a Concern
If someone changes their mind about reporting an item, they can let us know with an official withdrawal message. We’ll notify the affected shop and adjust things as needed, though every case is a little different.
